Shouldn't I just join a gym?

There are many answers to this question so I will just touch on the highlights. #1. Personal training can be far more effective than spending countless hours at the gym with your routine on repeat, not seeing the results that you'd hoped for. With a thorough understanding of the body and its movement mechanics, I tailor training sessions to your specific goals, push you through the necessary training, and celebrate every accomplishment with you along the way. "Training" means that you are no longer just "exercising with the hope of achieving your goal"; Training means results! #2. If you are committed to meeting your fitness goals and need the assistance of a personal trainer to get you there, I am actually here to SAVE you money! My prices are comparable and even lower than many personal trainers at local gyms in the area. However, I do not charge an additional gym membership fee that you will find at any of those gyms. You don't need to fill corporate pockets - keep that cash for yourself! #3. I can bring fitness to you, saving you time and more money! In our busy lives, it can be difficult to find the time for an hour training session + driving time + changing and locker time, etc. Going to the gym can take 1.5+ hours! I can bring the fitness right to your door so that your training session becomes a mere 30-60 minute part of your day (saving you $$ on gas too!). What if I am a member with the city gyms?

That is perfect! Gyms associated with the city allow outside trainers to meet clients there during regular business hours. You may continue your membership with them and I’ll meet you there.

What type of equipment do you use?

I can design a program using any and all of the equipment that you have at home. I am well versed in utilizing modalities, machines, resistance and free weights.

Can I bring my kids to your house?

Absolutely! Having two boys of my own, there is always something to do or play. We can schedule your sessions around the best times for your little ones or we can include them in your workout! Mommy/Daddy & me sessions are not only a whole lot of fun but it is great functional training for your everyday life of just being a parent!

I live in a different city; do we ever have to meet for online training?

It is not necessary for us to meet at all. Programming, weekly check-ins, and questions can be all be done over email, telephone, or video conferencing. We can set up video calling for your weekly sessions or I can simply provide you with your program and leave you to complete it on your own.

Should I start at the gym before seeking personal training?

Whether you are a novice or are just getting started, it is actually a perfect time to contact me. I can instill proper technique, form, and safety measures right from the start while we optimize your time and get you to achieve your fitness goals.

Can you help me with my diet?

Of course! Maintaining a healthy lifestyle requires a healthy kitchen. I want to ensure that you are fuelling your body appropriately and getting the most out of your food.
